Bill Aikman ('74) received his B.S. in education in 1974. He was a four-year starter, during which the Blue Knights posted a sparkling 71-39 record.

He completed his career with 1,406 points over 106 games, placing him 11th on Urbana's all-time list (at time of induction). The Clayton Northmont High School product played his first two seasons alongside fellow Hall of Famers Harold Howe, Terry Anderson, Jon Plunket and Mark Todd - "The Four Freshman" and inaugurual UU Athletic Hall of Fame Class ('87).
