ASHLAND, Ohio -- The Urbana swimming teams competed against Ashland and Malone Friday night at Messerly Natatorium on Ashland University's campus.
The UU women's team fell to Ashland 152-26 and came up short against Malone 158-32.
Six Blue Knights made an appearance during the tri-meet. Leading the way was sophomore Jaybreona Foster with a second-place finish in the 100 Breast (1:13.61). She also raced the 200 IM event (2:27.96/6th).
Three UU swimmers competed in the 50 Free race including Jaelle Lindon (28.04/8th), Magdaline Perry (28.94/10th) and Brooke Kiracofe (35.71/12th). Perry also appeared in the 200 Free (2:15.59/6th) and 500 Free (6:04.5/6th) events.
Rounding out the Blue Knight lineup was junior Ashlynn Miller in the 200 Free (2:16.77/8th) and 100 Fly (1:13.12/7th), along with senior Holly Fisher in the 200 Free (2:35.67/10th) and 100 Back (1:16.32/10th).
The UU women's 200 Medley Relay team finished third in the opening event of the night. Fisher, Foster, Miller and Lindon combined to produce a final time of 2:04.95.

The UU swim teams are set wrap up the regular season schedule next week with two meets. The Blue Knights travel to Notre Dame College Tuesday night and return for the home finale next Saturday for Senior Day against Manchester.
