Jaybreona Foster has been selected the Mountain East Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Foster, a junior from East Liverpool, Ohio, claimed the top time in four individual events last week.
She won the 100 Breast (1:12.29) and 200 IM (2:25.60) in Friday's tri-meet with Alderson Broaddus and Ursuline. Her 200 IM time is a new personal best. She also helped lead Urbana's first-place finish in the 200 Medlay Relay (2:03.63).
On Saturday, Foster produced another pair of Gold finishes by sweeping the breaststroke events. She recorded a finals time of 1:13.44 in the 100 Breast and 2:39.92 in the 200 Breast.
It's the second weekly honor this season for Foster. She previously earned Swimmer of the Week recognition on Oct. 23, 2019.
