URBANA, Ohio -- Urbana swimming teams had two home opener meets last weekend. On Friday, the women's team won 85-71 against Ursuline and lost 121-59 against Salem. The men's team lost 91-50 against Salem. On Saturday, the women's team won 72-40 against Tiffin and lost 146-40 against Davis and Elkins. The men's team lost to both Davis and Elkins and Tiffin.
Friday | Meet Results
The women's team had four-first place finishes along with three-second place finishes.
First place finishers were Jaybreona Foster in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:12.91), Jaelle Lindon in the 50 yard freestyle(26.28), Lindon in the 100 yard free(1:00.07) and Foster in the 100 yard breaststroke(1:12.91). Second place finishers were Ashlynn Miller in the 1,000 yard freestyle(12:45.33),Foster in the 100 yard butterfly(1:11.75) and Miller in the 500 yard freestyle(6:16.26).
The men's team had three-first place finishes along with four-second place finishes.
First place finishers were Dakota Lewis-Griggs in the 50 yard freestyle(23.51) and 100 yard backstroke(1:02.65) and Tomas Olivos in the 100 yard breaststoke(1:04.35). Second place finishers are Olivos in the 200 yard Individual Medley(2:17.48) and 100 yard butterfly(56.85), Lewis-Griggs in the 100 yard freestyle(54.63) and Nathan Hart in the 500 yard freestyle(6:24.28).
Saturday | Meet Results
The women's team had two-first place finishes and one second-place finish. Top finishers were the 200 yard medley relay team of Fisher, Foster, Lindon and Perry (2:04.30) and Foster in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:42.43). Second place finish was Lindon in the 50 yard freestyle(26.76)

The men's and women's swimming team will travel to Barbourville,Ky.where they will take on Union University on Friday, November 2nd at 6pm. The next home meet will be Friday, November 9th against Ohio Wesleyan University at 6 p.m.
