Men's Soccer to host several spring matches

URBANA, Ohio – The Urbana University men's soccer team will host several friendlies during the spring season, announced head coach Nick Roberts. All games will be played at UU Stadium and are free admission.

Urbana will open against local Division II rival Cedarville for a 7 p.m. friendly on Wednesday, March 25. Then, Division III Heidelberg comes to town over the weekend on Saturday, March 28 for a 3 p.m. match.

Two weeks later, Ohio Dominican makes the trip over from Columbus for a 7 p.m. match on Tuesday, April 7.

The following week will bring another Division III opponent to campus as Muskingum visits for a 7 p.m. friendly on Wednesday, April 15.

Four days later, Urbana will host both Findlay and Wittenberg to close out the spring on Sunday, April 19. The Blue Knights and Oilers will kick off at 4 p.m. which will be followed by a neutral-site match between Findlay and Wittenberg. Urbana and Wittenberg will play the final match.

Urbana finished 10-6-3 last fall while making its fifth consecutive appearance at the MEC Tournament. The Blue Knights are a combined 55-30-9 over the previous five seasons.
