FAIRBORN, Ohio – The Urbana University men's basketball team dropped Wednesday's exhibition game at Division I Wright State, 88-51.
Playing in his hometown, freshman
Shaunn Monroe led the Blue Knights with 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc.
Tehree Horn added eight points while
Jordan Bradley had seven.
Mario Lacy Jr. was active in the post with six points and five boards.
Urbana grabbed the first lead on Horn's layup to open the game and played well defensively early on, forcing three Wright State turnovers at the first media timeout.

Brandon Michrina trey with 12 minutes left in the half sliced the Raider lead to two, 11-9. However, the Blue Knights went on a scoring drought and trailed 38-19 at the break.
The host Raiders coasted through the second half as both sides emptied their bench.
Wright State's Grant Basile led all scorers with 19 points and six boards. Cole Gentry and Loudon Love also reached double figures with 13 and 12, respectively.
UP NEXT: Urbana hosts No. 16 West Liberty in Saturday's home opener at the Grimes Center. The conference lid-lifter for both sides will tip at 4 p.m. ET.
