Women's Golf Ninth in MEC Championship Opening Round

DANIELS, W. Va. – For the second day in a row, the Mountain East Conference Women's Golf Championship had play suspended Tuesday at Glade Springs.

Urbana finished the opening round in ninth place with a team score of 440. The second round will resume in the morning at approximately 9 a.m. ET.

Freshman Alivia Koenig leads the Blue Knights in her first championship appearance after a posting a 96 in the first round.

Rounding out the lineup were Cassidy Kraft (107), Allyson Hemmelgarn (116), Dana Jones (121) and Alexis Moore (123).
