URBANA, Ohio – The Urbana University men's wrestling team fell 36-22 against Thomas More University in Friday night's dual in the Grimes Center.
Urbana (2-8) moved out to a 22-12 lead after sophomore
Jake Lees won by major decision at 165 pounds over TMU's Roland. But, the visitors rattled off four consecutive pins to close the meet with 24 unanswered points.
Freshman
Jake Edwards earned the only pin (2:51) of the night for Urbana at 141 pounds. Sophomores
Jared Ford (149) and
Cole Houser (157) notched forfeit victories.
UP NEXT: Urbana travels to West Liberty in eight days to take on the nationally-ranked Hilltoppers in West Liberty, West Virginia on Sunday, Jan. 19.
