URBANA, Ohio -- Nick Dials has resigned from his position as head men's basketball coach at Urbana University following two years with the program.

Larry Cox announced the resignation Monday. The search is underway to identify the 11th head coach in program history.
"We are thankful for Nick's time and effort that he put into improving the Blue Knight men's basketball program during his two seasons," Cox said. "We wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
Under Dials, the Blue Knights posted a top-25 win and for the first time in program history featured a Mountain East Conference Player of the Week (twice) and an All-MEC Second Team honoree.
The men's basketball team finished the 2018-19 season with an overall record of 6-20. Dials accrued an overall record of 10-44 at UU.
