High School: Earned 2017 GWOC South Player of the Year recognition while scoring the second-most points in the 20-team conference ... averaged 15.8 points, 4.3 boards, 3.4 steals, and 2.2 assists per contest in her senior season ... Thompson racked up all-league honors twice during her Ram career ... played AAU ball with teammate T'erra Eubanks.

Personal: Born in November 1998 ... has four siblings ... brother Eric Thompson played basketball at the University of Pacific and currently competes professionally overseas ... Taj plans on studying sports management at UU.
