High School: Earned four varsity letters in basketball and was selected All-Southwest Buckeye League Honorable Mention each year ... as a senior, Smith led Valley View in scoring (12.2 ppg) and finished fourth in the SWBL with a 47.4 shooting percentage to garner All-Southwest Ohio Second Team and 2019 Dabbs All-Area First Team honors ... she averaged 14.0 PPG during a playoff run to the regional semifinals, highlighted by a 24-point outing in the district title game where she went 6 of 8 from three-point range ... as a junior, Smith assumed team captain duties and helped guide the Spartans to a conference title and 20-3 overall record ... she played her first season at Valley View as a sophomore after transferring from SWBL-foe Preble Shawnee, where she led the team in scoring as a freshman ...
