Biography
2017-18 (Sophomore): Played in all 28 games while making 20 starts... third on the team in scoring (9.9 ppg)... second on the squad in assists (2.2 apg) and free-throw percentage (83.3%)... nearly half of his made field goals came from beyond the arc (44 of 96)... made at least one 3-pointer in all but two games... the best performance of his career came at home against Notre Dame (OH) with single-game highs in points (18) and rebounds (6)... posted a five-game stretch in February with double-digit points.
2016-17 (Freshman): Made 11 starts and appeared in 27 games ... averaged 12.7 minutes per contest ... second on the team in 3-pointers (29) while shooting 31 percent from beyond the arc ... scored double figures on six occasions with a season-high 15 points in three games ... top performance came against Charleston (Feb. 1) where he went 5 of 11 from beyond the arc ... also scored 15 points in his first career starts in back-to-back games against West Virginia State (Dec. 3) and Davis & Elkins (Dec. 10) ... posted an average of 1.3 rebounds with a season-high of five boards at D&E ... named to the AD's Fall Honor Roll.
High School: Put together a standout career playing under his father Rod Snapp at Newport High School...Snapp scored over 1,700 career points for the Wildcats, averaging 19.0 points and six assists per game as a senior in 2015-16...He was a three-time Northern Kentucky Boys Basketball Coaches Association all-star selection and led his team to three regional tournament appearances.
