FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Purdue Fort Wayne swept Urbana in Friday night men's volleyball action on Arnie Ball Court.
The host Mastodons won by final set scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-11.
Jack Brinkman led Urbana with six kills on 11 attacks to swing at a .364 clip on the night.
Tyler Chavez and
Matt Wheeler recorded four and three kills, respectively.
Chaz Hafer logged 15 assists while
Tomas Beralas had a team-high three digs.
The Blue Knights were limited to a negative hitting percentage at minus 0.29 while the Mastodons hit over .400 and registered eight aces.
Purdue Fort Wayne's Richie Diedrich produced seven kills along with six each from Wilmer Hernandez and Pelegrin Vargas.
UP NEXT: Urbana (0-12) will host a tri-match Sunday against Daemen (NY) and Lincoln Memorial (TN).
