Men's Soccer Downed by Charleston

URBANA, Ohio – The Urbana University men's soccer team fell to visiting Charleston 4-0 Wednesday night at UU Stadium.

UU now stands at 2-2-0 in conference play and 2-3-1 overall on the season. UC improved to 5-2-0 (5-0-0 MEC).

Charleston's Freddie Tracey scored from close range in the ninth minute for the game-winner. The Golden Eagles took the 1-0 lead into halftime and tacked on three goals late in the second half.

The Blue Knights were outshot 12-7 during the match, but limited to zero shots on goal. UU goalkeeper Jakob Henriksen registered four saves.

UP NEXT: UU travels to Wheeling for Sunday's 1 p.m. conference match against the Cardinals at Bishop Schmitt Field.
