Urbana Falls to Concord at UU Stadium

URBANA, Ohio -- The Urbana women's soccer team fell 6-0 to Concord Sunday at UU Stadium.

The Blue Knights drop to 1-7-0 overall and 1-6-0 in league play while the Mountain Lions got back to .500 at 4-4-0 (2-3-0 MEC).

UU was outshot 19-7 and managed only two shots on goal during a sweltering day that reached near-90 degree temperatures.

Concord took the lead in the 16th minute and led 1-0 at halftime, before tacking on four goals in the second stanza.

UU keeper Katherine Beech produced five saves in net.

UU travels to West Liberty on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. MEC matchup.
