Guay Earns Fourth Win, UU Splits DH with Shepherd

URBANA, Ohio - Senior right-hander Adam Guay breezed past Mountain East Conference North Division leading Shepherd's lineup with eight shutout innings as Urbana University baseball split Saturday's doubleheader. Guay led the Blue Knights to a 3-2 win in Game 2 after the Rams grabbed the first game at Blue Knight Field, 8-2.

The two squads will meet tomorrow to wrap the four-game series with Game 1 slated for another 1 p.m. first pitch in Urbana.

Records Update
The Blue Knights split their sixth consecutive MEC doubleheader and moved to 12-17 overall and 6-8 in league play. UU handed Shepherd only its second loss in MEC play as the Rams fell to 15-14 overall (12-2 MEC).
