COLUMBUS, Ohio – Urbana University baseball outscored Ohio Dominican 10-1 over the final five innings Saturday, but still came up short 15-11 at ODU's Frank Damian Field.
RECORDS UPDATE
Urbana dropped to 3-4 overall while the Ohio Dominican squad remained unbeaten at 4-0 on the year.
TURNING POINT
The Panthers jumped all over the Blue Knights early with a 14-1 lead off 15 hits through four complete frames. However, the UU bats got the visitors back in it with a four-spot in the top of the fifth, which featured a three-run blast by right fielder
Nick Gallagher - a no doubter to right field.
Then, UU added two in the sixth and one in the seventh, before Gallagher came up big again with a bases-clearing double to plate three more runs in the eighth to make the score 15-11.

Colt Woolever and
Brandon McRae kept UU within striking distance, combining to allow one run on only one hit across the fifth through eighth innings. But, the Knights were shut down in the ninth after ODU's closer retired the side in order.

- Isac Franklin scored three runs while going 2 for 5 with a pair of singles and a walk
