UU Draws in Second Straight Outing

CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- The Urbana women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw in double overtime Saturday afternoon against Charleston (WV) at Schoenbaum Stadium.

The Blue Knights are now 1-7-2 overall (1-6-2 MEC) after their second straight tied matchup. It was Charleston's fourth draw in its 10th contest this season.

Junior Angie Kerth scored her first goal of the season, off an assist from Alyssa Garberich, to even the score in the 38th minute. Then, sophomore Katherine Beech secured 10 saves to keep the Golden Eagles from scoring the rest of the way.
