High School: Three-sport athlete at Northwestern High School... compiled an overall record of 132-33... finished 49-11 during his senior campaign and set the school record for most wins in a season... three-time district qualifier... state qualifier at 138 pounds in senior year after a fourth-place finish at district meet... went 1-2 at the state tournament with a pin in the consolation first round... special mention all-conference in both wrestling and football during senior year... also named to the wrestling all-conference second team as a junior... earned the conference baseball sportsmanship award as a senior... 2018 National Football Foundation Hall of Fame award recipient.
