2015 (Senior): Named MEC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September 21, after scoring three goals as the Blue Knights picked up a pair of conference wins...Appeared in all 20 games this season for the Blue Knights...scored seven goals and recorded a pair of assists on the year...recorded 29 shots, 16 of which were on goal.

2014 (Junior): Switched from #14 to #8 before the season...Before his season ending ankle injury, McFarlane appeared in 12 games this year, while starting in 10 of them...He recorded the game-winning goal against SU on October 5...He finished the year with six shots, three of which were on goal.

2013 (Sophomore): For his second season as a Blue Knight, he played in all 18 games and started nine of them...He had four goals for the season with taking 14 shots and eight of them being on goal..One of his four goals was a game winner vs. WJU on September 18...Named to the Athletic Director's Fall Honor Roll.

2012 (Freshman): Named to Athletic Director's Fall Honor Roll...Started four games and appeared in 12 more as a sub for the Blue Knights...The freshman mid-fielder was fourth on the team in assists with two...Fired seven total shots. 

Previous Experience: Early in his playing career, he had trials at Hibernian FC, eventually moving to Tynecastle FC where he played for four successful seasons...His team participated in The Gothia Cup (World Youth Championships) in Sweden on three occasions...Played for Leith Athletic FC where he stayed for one season before returning back to his home team of Haddington Athletic FC...Played for Coach Flood at Knox Academy.
