2015 (Sophomore Season): Started first three games of the season at strong safety before suffering injury...Recorded five total tackles in season opener against Glenville State, including four solo stops...Had a pair of pass breakups in Week 2 win at West Virginia State.

2014 (Freshman Season): Appeared in 10 games this season which included six starts before he suffered a season-ending injury in the season's 10th game...Played mostly safety, Yound recorded 55 tackles (37 solo, 18 assisted)...He also had eight tackles for loss, two QB hurries, and four pass break-ups...Young added two sacks that resulted in a loss of 18 yards and one fumble recovery...His best game came against West Virginia State where he recorded one pass break-up, 10 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks that resulted in 18 yards.

High School: First Team All-Area, First Team GWOC, Defensive Player of the Year, First Team GWOC South, Second Team Southwest Ohio, Miamisburg Defensive Back of the Year...School Record 4 x 4 relay team and 4 x 4 Team placed 10th in the state track meet.
