HIGH SCHOOL: Led Northmont to a combined 18-5 record, back-to-back division titles and two playoff appearances as the starting quarterback... school record-holder for single-season completion percentage (61.9%)... as senior, named All-State Special Mention, Ohio Southwest All-District First Team, First Team All-GWOC, First Team All-GWOC West Division and West Division Athlete of the Year... as a junior, named Ohio Southwest All-District Second Team and First Team All-GWOC West Division... in two years, he threw for a combined 4,834 yards with a 61.7 completion percentage and 58 total touchdowns... Johnson led the GWOC with over 2,200 passing yards as a senior...  he produced three 300-yard passing games his senior year, including a 20-of-23 performance for 318 yards and three touchdowns in the school's first playoff win in 10 years...  he played in the Ohio North-South Football Classic, completing 11 of 21 passes for 133 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-33 win... Johnson also played basketball his senior year at Northmont.
