HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters from head coach Kevin Kreinhagen at North Central High … two-year team captain … played safety and outside linebacker for the Panthers … posted two interceptions, 10 sacks, one forced fumble and more than 200 tackles as a prepster … US Army National Combine invitee … also competed on the track team.

PERSONAL: Son of Joy Vann-Austin and Raynandole Poindexter … two sisters and one brother … full name is Rashaad Alexander-Lee Poindexter … his grandfather, Johnny Vann, was selected in the 10th round of the 1974 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.
