2015 (Junior Season): Named to the All-MEC Second Team for the third straight year...Produced a career-high 90 total tackles and led the Blue Knights by tying his career-high of 17.5 tackles for loss...Also led UU with a team-high 5.5 sacks, and ranked seventh among MEC leaders with 8.2 tackles per game...Chapple is now ranked third in UU history behind former All-American D'Gary Wallace with 48.5 career TFL’s, and tied for third with 22 career sacks...Chapple was named the MEC and D2Football.com Defensive Player of the Week following his Week 2 performance at West Virginia State, where he recorded five TFL’s and two sacks while racking up 12 total tackles...He also returned a fumble 24 yards against the Yellow Jackets to set up a UU score...Tied his season-high with 12 total tackles against Fairmont State...Named Preseason Second-Team All-American by USACollegeFootball.org.

2014 (Sophomore Season): Started 10 games at linebacker...Earned honorable mention All-MEC...Before he broke his ankle in the 10th game of the season, Chapple had 51 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss and 7.5 sacks, which inlcuded three against Malone on November 1...Recorded a season-high 10 tackles against Glenville State on September 20...Finished fourth in the MEC in sacks, third in TFL's, and second in forced fumbles (three)...Named to preseason All-MEC Team by Beyond Sports Network...Earned Preseason second team All-American honors from USACollegeFootball.org.

2013 (Freshman Season): Named Second Team All-MEC...Named Second Team All-Ohio by OhioCollegeFootball.com...Earned the team's Defensive MVP award...Third on the squad in tackles with 81...Tallied 13.5 tackles for a loss, four sacks, six pass break-ups, a fumble recovery and a blocked kick...Third in the MEC in tackles for a loss.

2012 (Redshirt Season): Redshirted his first season at Urbana...Named Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year.

High School: Kevin's Beechcroft team went to the State Playoffs in 2008, 2009 and 2011 and won the Columbus City League North Championship in 2010 and 2011...Kevin was a two-time All-City selection, received second Team All-District honors, and received Special Mention All-Metro and All-State.
