Biography
2015-16 (Junior): CSCAA Scholar All-American for the third straight year...ASC Swimmer of the Week (Nov. 2-6)...ASC Champion in the 50 Free (23.96) and 200 Free (1:55.30), then placed second in the 100 Free after winning the prelims...Set a "B" standard cut time in the 50 Free...Captured a team-high 16 first-place finishes during the season...Set new school records in the 50 Free (23.66), 200 Free (1:55.30), and 200 Free Relay (1:40.24)...Inducted to the Chi Alpha Sigma National Athlete's Honor Society...Appeared on both the fall and spring AD's Honor Roll.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Named SAACÂ Scholar Athlete of the Month for her performance in January...Wieser helped the Blue Knights defeat Alderson-Broaddus by sweeping her individual and relay events...Wieser racked up a team-high 11 wins in four meets in January...She competed in the 50 Free (23.81 @ Miami), 100 Free (52.31 @ Miami), and the 200 Free (1:55.44 @ ASC)...She had set several school records including the 50 and 100 Free, the 200 Free, and was apart of the 200 and 400 Free Relay, and both 200 and 400 Medley Relays.
2013-14 (Freshman): Recieved Honorable Mention Scholar All-American honors by the CSCAA after achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while also achieving a "B" time standard (first UU female winner in program history)...Named to the A.D.'s Fall Honor Roll...Swam the 400 Medley Relay, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, 200 Freestyle Relay, 200 Free (personal best: 1:56.85 @ Miami), 100 Free (52.90 @ ASC), 50 Free (23.97@ ASC)...Wieser became the first individual champion for the Blue Knight women when she swept a field of 57 with a school-record 23.97...The rookie also earned her first career NCAA D-II B-cut qualifying time in the win...Wieser nearly won the next event, the 200 free, but was edged down the stretch and had to settle for second with a time of 1:57.35 in a field of 37...Before the ASC meet was over, Wieser made a little more history...She captured another individual title in the 100 free, joining Helander as the only multiple conference championship title holders in Urbana's history...Her time of 52.90 was another school record.
