URBANA, Ohio – David Jeffries' goal in the 53
rd minute proved to be the game-winner for the Urbana University men's soccer team on Saturday in a tightly contested 3-2 victory over Concord University.
The Blue Knights (9-4-3, 9-3-2 MEC) outshot the Mountain Lions (3-10-2, 2-10-2 MEC) by a decisive 23-5 margin including an 11-3 differential in shots on goal.

Luke Nicholls' assist. Nicholls also assisted on Jeffries' goal for his MEC-best ninth assist of the season.
Matt Shelor's goal at 30:29 into the first half would get Concord on the board and then Courtney Skerritt's goal at 70:03 would set up the final score.
The Mountain Lions would give it one last push in the final minute of play, but Skerritt's shot attempt with 31 seconds remaining was blocked.
