SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Urbana's season came to end Wednesday after suffering a 2-0 loss to Notre Dame College in the opening round of the Mountain East Conference Tournament. Both teams battled frigid temps on a snow-cleared field after the match was rescheduled from Tuesday.
The Blue Knights finish with the program's sixth-best win total and highest win total in the MEC era at 7-10-1 (7-7-1 MEC).
Notre Dame's Alyssa Soltis produced the game-winner in the 61st minute after the teams went scoreless in the first half. A header goal in the 67th minute put the Falcons ahead for good.
