Dizdarevic's 10th Goal Carries UU Past Wesleyan

URBANA, Ohio – Jasminko Dizdarevic's 10th goal of the season lifted Urbana University men's soccer past West Virginia Wesleyan Thursday night at UU Stadium, 1-0.

With the win, UU jumps ahead of Wesleyan for the third place in the league standings. The Blue Knights improved to 6-3-3 (6-2-2 MEC) while the Bobcats fell to 7-2-1 (6-2-1 MEC).

Dizdarevic also continues to lead the Mountain East Conference in goals (10) and points (25).

Keeper Jakob Henriksen had two saves and only faced six shots for his second clean sheet. The Blue Knight defense played well with Josh Neal, Noah Stew-Lewis, Marvin Zott and Miguel Enamorado leading the way.
