Mountain East Conference Release:

Lexington, KY
 –
BlueFrame Technology announced a partnership with the Mountain East Conference today to create the Mountain East Digital Network, a conference-wide video streaming platform. The agreement will include all 12 MEC member schools.

"BlueFrame is extremely excited to partner with the Mountain East Conference to build their digital network," said Josh Braun, Director of Sales and Customer Service of BlueFrame Technology.  "The Mountain East wanted to deliver great streams to all of their fans, from all of their member schools, and I believe our streaming service tools and platform is the perfect fit for what they want to accomplish."

The Mountain East Digital Network will debut this Thursday, August 31st, 2017. All Mountain East athletic events that are streamed, unless regionally or nationally broadcast, will be available on the network. The league and its member institutions will utilize the network to produce other programming such as press conferences, special events, graduation ceremonies, student-athlete interviews and additional content.

"By working with the team at BlueFrame to create the Mountain East Digital Network, we are now able to provide a standardized viewing experience for our fans and put our content in front of people no matter how they prefer to consume it," said Mountain East Commissioner Reid Amos. "We are grateful to the BlueFrame staff for guiding this project, and also to our board, administrators and athletics communications personnel for their commitment to advancing the collective profile of the conference through this initiative."

In addition to providing streaming on the web, BlueFrame will be delivering streaming media apps for: Android TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Roku (available beginning Sept. 13). • vCloud:  BlueFrame's cloud content management system provides the tools to put the Mountain East Digital Network brand first.  Broadcast poster image, network lead-in, and content aggregation are all configurable by broadcast, by member institution, or for the whole network. • Playback:  Mountain East broadcasts can be viewed on desktop, on mobile, and now on internet-connected television devices anywhere in the world.  MEC broadcasts will be available live and immediately archived for on demand viewership.  This means fans of the Mountain East can watch whenever, wherever, and on their platform of choice.

• Integration: By utilizing BlueFrame's end-to-end service, the Mountain East benefits from the seamless integration.  When a broadcast is scheduled, it is immediately available for their producers in Production Truck as well as for viewers on all of their Mountain East Digital Network branded presences.
