Urbana Ends Season with Scoreless Tie at Concord

ATHENS, W. Va. -- The Urbana women's soccer team ended the season with a scoreless tie at Concord Saturday afternoon in Athens, West Virginia. The Blue Knights finish the year at 3-10-4 overall and 3-9-4 in league play, while playing seven games that went to overtime.

UU put two more shots on frame than CU with an 8-6 edge. Jordan Littles, Alyssa Edwards and Alyssa Garberich each had two shots on goal and three overall for the Blue Knights, along with a shot on goal by Kobi Bryant and Angie Kerth.

Katherine Beech finished with six saves in goal for the Blue Knights and posted her career-high third shutout this season. Beech logged 119 saves in over 1600 minutes this fall.

Four Blue Knights finished the season with two goals, including Edwards, Garberich, Savannah Morgan and Anne Kawabe. Garberich led the team in assists with four.
